Breast Cancer, and Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer!

Dear Dr Chris,

My name is M.P. and I have been forwarded your contact details from
family friends who live in Penang.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand and I have been diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time in 6 years. The first time was on the right breast(Grade 1, in 2004) and then left (Grade 1, in 2008) and now it is back on the right side. I am going in for surgery (a bilateral mastectomy) in a couple of weeks.

I am writing to make the initial contact with you and if possible, to get some advice about what I can do to heal myself and aid in my recovery from the cancer and the surgery.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Just Waiting to Die?

Dear Dr. Chris,
My name is L, I live in Batam, Indonesia. My mother (57 years old) had recently been diagnosed with Colon Cancer stadium III and have just had a surgery in Mahkota Medical Hospital in Melaka on 25 March 2010. She is now on tablet chemotherapy since intravenous chemo is too much for her to endure considering her hypertension which had caused 3 times stroke before, including the one she had post surgery, when she was still recovering in ICU. She also has a diabetic problem.

According to Oncologist, though she is on chemo, there is 75% possibility that her cancer will recurrence and spread to her liver. I presume he's basically saying my mother is just waiting to die. Therefore even though according to Oncologist it is unwise to combine Chemo with Herb, I still want to seek your help, because I have read a lot about you and I believe with God's help and my mom's high spirit to fight this illness, we will win over the battle.

I am attaching a letter from her surgeon for you to understand her condition better. Her last stroke had caused her to be very weak and unable to walk even though she can move her right leg a little bit but her legs cannot support her body. Her right arm cannot move at all. My questions are :

1. Do I need to bring her along to see you or I can go by myself with all her medical records ? Planning to go over on 14th May.
2. Please advise me further what I need to do or what I need to prepare prior our trip to Penang.

Thks & B'regards

Reply: You need to come and see me and don’t bring your mother ... Bring all the medical reports --- but you are coming in the middle of May? That is one month from now --- write me again when you really want to come ... no point telling me now.

Emails Just Poured In from Indonesia

Dr Chris,
My mother has been diagnosed with Liver cancer stage-3 (Jan-10). She's just having traditional medicine, without having chemo treatment. Her condition is getting worse now, as she's so easy to get tired & her stomach is bloating & hardened. Considering her condition, would it be possible to make appointment first? Thanks & regards,
A – Indonesia

Dear dr. Chris,
I am from Indonesia and I would like to have a consultation with you on behalf of my mom who has recurring tongue cancer and had undergone surgery 3x, radiation and chemo. She is so tired of all that. We desperately want to explore other possibilities.
I will be flying on Friday morning arriving in Penang at 11 AM and departing Sunday 10 AM. I am so scared that I may not have enough time if based on first come first serve basis, especially because you're closed on Saturday. So my only chance is Friday PM.Is there some arrangement that we can make to prevent this?
Thanks a lot in advance,
H, Indonesia

Reply: Nothing to worry. I see ALL patients on Friday starting from 3 pm. Sure you will have enough time. I don’t stop until I see all who come. Bring all your medical reports and scans.
Chris

Hi... My name is H, I'm Indonesian, and I live in Jakarta. My dad has a colon cancer stadium 3 and has been removed on February at NUH Hospital in Singapore. He is currently on medication and on chemotherapy. His first chemotherapy was about 2 weeks ago. Doctor said he will have to wait until the last chemotherapy (which will be on July) to see whether the cancer spread to other part of his body or not. But I think he is not getting better even after the surgery. He seems to suffer from severe pain, loss of appetite, lack of energy (he sleeps all the time). This morning he said his stomach hurts so badly. He is constipated, so my mom and my sister rush and fly back to Singapore. My question is... is there still hope that my dad can recover from his cancer?? Please help us...

I know about this cancer center from one of my friend, but I haven't told my dad about this. I would like to find out the detail and everything first before I told him about this therapy. I really hope that u can help him going through his cancer. I have read about your therapy medication and the herbal tea, but if my dad is still on doctor's medication and on chemotherapy, is it ok to also consume a medication from your clinic? Should we tell his doctor if we want to go with an alternative medication also? Please reply to me as soon as you can and let me know what to do next... I really appreciate your help...

Thank you,
H – Indonesia

The above is an email I received from a medical doctor from Indonesia. He carries a Blackberry. I don’t know the significance of the above until Pak Nias from Nias Island of Indonesia came today to our cancer and excitedly told me the same story. He received a message in his cell phone. Apparently owners of the Blackberry share interesting and important information among themselves and the message of the past few days is about CA Care. For those who cannot read Indonesia … roughly this is what the message is all about:

“ Friends who have relatives or know of those with cancer? Want to help them? Even if it is a hopeless case, don’t give up. Many people have been cured --- even when the cancer was at its advanced stage. Visit the website: www.cacare.com. Dr. Chris Teo in Penang, Malaysia has cured many cancer patients with herbal therapy. Please forward.”

I am sorry I have no control on what people write to each other in their hand phones.

One correction here: Chris does not cure anybody – our motto: Our hands but God heals.

For those who are blessed and found their healings – please lift up your eyes unto the Heavens and thank God the Almighty.

For your info, Chris Teo does not have a hand phone and he does not how to use one either. This is my choice and I prefer not to carry one around.

Leukemia: Can Money Cure?

Dear dr. Chris

I am A. from Indonesia, I found the website about cancer (http://cacare.com), and I'm really interest with it. Actually, currently my beloved mother is diagnosed with leukemia, her condition is getting worse, more weak and not showing any significant changes in treatment. if we had more money, we will go to your place and I'm really sure my mother will get feasible treatment
My mother's only a elementary school teacher with inadequate salary, so she only gets modest treatment.
And i only can find alternative treatment and looking for traditional medicine by browsing the internet with expectations i can find it. if we can get the treatment as those who have money, maybe my mother can get better and i can hug my mother for more times, because i know my mother's life only counting minute by minute, day by day......only resignedly and pray that we can do, hope she can still see her kids getting success and still have a chance to make her happy and can enjoy her rest of life....
Maybe my mother will not get any treatment till end of her life. i know it's impossible for me to expect something good for her. Hope God give His miracle to my beloved Mom.
dr. Chris, would you like to give me some advices what should I do, or maybe if there are any alternative or traditional medicine that can prolong my mother's life, because it's not possible for us to buy medical medicines, with our economic condition. i really love my Mom.

Hope you will reply my e-mail.

Thank you,
A

My questions are; are there any therapies or herb medicine for this kind of ca? I really hope that you could answer my questions. Thank you.

Parkinson's Disease

Hi Dr Chris,

My mum has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease a few years back. Initially it was just her right hand trembling. Now, it is slowing affecting her right face muscle and her right leg.

My sister and I did not let her take the western medicine as the drug has many side effects. My mum's condition is getting worse each day but I do not know how I can help her. Can we bring her to see you?  As for the diet, is there anything my mum should avoid?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.

Regards,
L, Singapore
